'Concealment and Disclosure' shows a series of large, finely rendered figurative drawings that research ideas around the psychology of performative self-realisation and engagement with the identity of others. A systematic and repetitive method of drawing is used to describe the female form through the clothed exterior. The exact identity of the women or their settings is never revealed; it is a world of concealment and disclosure.

That photo.
Somewhat intentionally,
stumbling across
that photo of us.
I wonder what I was laughing about,
I look so happy
half-hidden behind my hand.
I can see a hint of the dark lipstick
that I had insisted on applying
at some point
along the walk up the hill.
For a moment I want my hair to grow long again.
We looked good together.
I think
I started drinking any beer I could find
not long after that photo was taken.
